Working group politics
What we do
The Working Group Politics supports the Board Member Politics within ECPYouth in creating and promoting political content. This means the group is involved in:
- Writing statements on current political issues.
- Organizing (online) events on political topics.
- Setting up impactful campaigns that can bring about political change.
Who can join & what you gain
To become a member, a few requirements apply:
- You live in Europe, preferably in an EU member state.
- You are over 17 years old.
- You have an interest in international/European politics.
- You are willing to write statements or organize events and campaigns.
- You are a committed Christian.
What you gain from joining:
- A network of young people across Europe.
- Experience in collaborating within a European youth organization.
- Increased knowledge of European politics.
Examples of past projects
Some concrete projects include:
- In 2019, the WG Politics published a report on “Fake News and Propaganda” titled “Tell the Truth.”
- They also wrote an opinion piece on organ trafficking (“Organ Trafficking”).
