Board members

Events, born in Flanders (Belgium), currently works as an entrepreneur and freelance journalist, combining this with his studies in philosophy at the Catholic University of Leuven. Moreover, he is currently the political secretary of the Flemish Peoples Movement and has been a guest lecturer and speaker on ethics at the catholic University-College Artevelde in Ghent for the previous 5 years.

Dominic is passionate about Flemish nationalism, ethics and the differences within ideologies, especially in regards to culture and community building. Having experiences of 8 years in Flemish politics and working as a political cabinet advisor for several vice-mayors of the city of Antwerp, he brings a lot of experience to the table. With strong roots in different student organizations such as being the national president of the Catholic, conservative and Flemish nationalist students of Flanders, president of EKA (European students in Antwerp) and founder of Katholica, a Catholic student community in the city of Antwerp, he proved himself to be an active voice within the younger Christian-conservative generations.

At ECPYouth, Dominic made a quick impression as the Press and Marketing Officer of the EU 2024 campaign, while he was participating in the Christian Changemakers Program. His efforts in these undertakings and his contribution for the 2024 Political Program, made him join the board for the position Events in April 2024. He currently serves as the co-host of the Brussels Breakdown podcast and current President of ECPYouth.

Victoria Meller – Vice President and Treasurer. Victoria was born in Gdańsk, Poland and spent much of her upbringing after the age of 7 in the United Kingdom.

Victoria obtained her LLB in Commercial Law in 2019 and then subsequently, obtained her LLM in International Commercial Law at the University of Bristol in England.

For her Masters’ thesis, she decided to focus on IT Law, specifically in relation to the exercise of freedom of expression and Big Tech censorship. Upon completion of her Legal Practice Course with a Business in Law MsC in the UK, she went onto studying Polish and Roman law at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

Victoria identifies as a conservative and her interest in politics and public theology propelled her to become a participant of the first edition of the Christian Changemakers program in 2021/22.

Victoria was elected as a Board Member Treasurer in the summer of 2022. Towards the end of 2023, Victoria was elected as Vice President, while simultaneously continuing to serve as a Treasurer. She is now serving her second term as Vice President and Treasurer.

Ivana currently serves as Board Member for Communications. Born in North Macedonia, she is pursuing a degree in Criminology in Skopje, the country’s capital.

Alongside her academic work, Ivana has been actively engaged in public and political life from a young age. She previously served as President of her local youth organization, where she led initiatives focused on civic engagement, leadership development, and community involvement. She is also an active member of a centre-right political party, reflecting her commitment to democratic values, responsible governance, and public service.

Guided by her Christian faith, Ivana is dedicated to promoting human dignity, social responsibility, and ethical leadership. She is passionate about strengthening civil society, empowering young people to participate in public life, and contributing to policies that uphold freedom, justice, and the common good.

Malte is passionate about European politics, believing that questions of sovereignty, responsibility, and institutional renewal are central to the future of the West. He has gained experience in policy-oriented environments including the European Parliament and several think tanks, where he has worked on issues ranging from energy and trade policy to migration, housing, and security. Outside of his academic and policy work, he is active in student politics and public debate.

Hillary Baddoo – joined ECPYouth as Board Member Events in Dsecember 2025. She is from Ghana but has lived her life in Berlin, Germany for over a decade. Works as a nurse and her passion is organisation which helped her with this position. She is also a devoted Christian.
